Choose who can see one section of your page
You want to keep one part of your page — your Work Portfolio, your thoughts — away from strangers without hiding everything.
Before you start
- You are looking at your own page, signed in
Steps
Open your own page and scroll to the section's heading, for example WORK PORTFOLIO.
Look at the badge on the right of that heading. It shows the current level as a coloured dot and a word — a green Public, a yellow Connections, or a red Private.
Tap the badge to move to the next level.
Each tap moves one step and wraps around: Public → Connections → Private → Public. There is no menu to open and nothing to save.
You will know it worked when
The badge changes colour and word immediately, and it is already saved — a signed-out reader loading your page no longer sees that section at all. To see that for yourself, Preview your page as other people see it.
If it does not work
- You set a section to Public but a stranger still cannot see what is inside it.
- Something narrower is winning. Each work sample has its own badge, and each item can have one too — the narrowest setting on the ladder decides, so a connections-only work sample stays hidden inside a public section.
