Your address never changes

You choose your DatsPro address when you join, and it never changes afterwards, so any link to your page keeps working for as long as the page exists.

When you sign up, you choose your username, and your address is datspro.pro followed by it. A username is 3 to 30 letters, numbers or single hyphens and starts with a letter, such as sara-lee or markly2000. The sign-up page shows the address as you type, and tells you straight away if a name is not available.

You cannot change it later, so choose it with care. That sounds like a limitation and is closer to a guarantee: every link anyone has ever saved to your page, every message addressed to you, and every reference to something you published keeps resolving. Nothing quietly breaks because you renamed yourself.

A username is never handed out again, even after its account is removed, so a saved link or a printed card can never lead to somebody else.

Your display name is separate and you can change it whenever you like. The address is the identity; the name is what people read.

The same address is your mail address with @datspro.pro after it — see DatsMail.
